How to read the ingredients list

All our products have a list of all their ingredients, which is particularly useful if, for example, you have allergies or want to avoid certain substances. All manufacturers are required to feature their ingredients as follows:

Ingredients are listed in order of quantity. The ingredients used in the greatest amounts appear first, with the ingredients used in the smallest amounts listed last.

Perfumes, dyes and preservatives are not used in great amounts in cosmetic products and therefore tend to appear at the bottom of the list. Nevertheless, they are the most interesting in terms of their risk of allergies. You can truly benefit from reading the fine print if you want to prevent allergies.

But did you know …
You do not need to read the list of ingredients on Derma products. The process of getting certification from Asthma Allergy Nordic, AllergyCertified, the Nordic Ecolabel and Ecocert/COSMOS have done the work for you. Their labels on a product guarantee that it is free from ingredients suspected of being allergenic, endocrine disrupting or otherwise harmful to your health or the environment.
