What is an airless container?

An airless container is airtight. What’s smart about products with airtight packaging is that the contents don’t come in contact with the air and the risk of contamination by microorganisms is significantly reduced. As a result, it also reduces the need to add preservatives.

How it works
When the product is pumped out, there will be a vacuum in the container so that the contents are virtually sucked out. It might be a bag that shrinks when the contents are pressed out, or the container may be equipped with a piston that automatically moves upwards as the contents are removed.
